Enjoy barbeque? Why not become a certified barbeque judge? Don't miss this unique event hosted by the Auburn Hotel and Conference Center this Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 9 am to 5 pm. Throughout the course, you will learn how to objectively and subjectively evaluate barbeque for competitions and events and meet other barbeque enthusiasts. The cost for the 1 day course is $65 for KCBS members and $95 for non-members.The Auburn Hotel and Conference Center is offering a special group rate in newly renovated rooms for all Kansas City Barbeque Society event attendees of $85 per night for Friday, January 15, and Saturday, January 16, 2010. The group rate includes 1 king bed or double bed accommodations and complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Ariccia.
