Recently, we discovered that our little hometown of Auburn, Alabama was named the "2nd Best Place to Live" according to a release by US News on June 8, 2009. The article includes the top 10 cities, and Auburn placed second, after Albuquerque, New Mexico. As proud members of the Auburn community, we love everything Auburn has to offer, from the beautiful Chewacla State Park, to the sea of orange and blue fans that come through Auburn University each Saturday in the fall. The city truly is a place to call home. Whether you are born and raised here, or just discovering Auburn for the first time, it is a large town with a very small town feel. Auburn offers the convience of a large city with the Tiger Town shopping center and Colonial Mall, and also keeps a small town feel with family friendly parks and a cozy downtown with festivals and events year round.
